Description of Classes

Gentle Yoga - a gentle class suitable for all ages and abilities. Ideal for beginners with a focus on Mindfulness and finding ease of body, mind and spirit. Take time-out to relax and come back to yourself with gentle breathing and stretching exercises. Improve flexibility, mobility and posture and overall well-being. Class starts and finishes with a relaxation.

Mindful Yoga – Sometimes Gentle, Sometimes Strong but always Mindful!  A blend of
breathing, Yoga postures & Relaxation gently infused with Mindfulness. This class is ideal for beginners and seasoned yogis alike... anybody who is looking for a mindful way to move and relax, and those negotiating mid-life and menopause. The class incorporates movement and exercises that help you maintain strength, flexibility, muscle mass and bone density.  Practicing mindfully helps us to be fully present with our experience so that we can move safely and also give our minds a break from the busyness and over-thinking we often engage in.
We start off gently and often build up to a more challenging pose (which can be practiced at a level that suits you) but with an emphasis on Mindfulness to help you deal with the stresses and strains of modern life and connect with your innate strength, wisdom and peace.  Class finishes with a relaxation.

Everyday Mindfulness - A Gentle Path to Peace
Life can feel busy and full... but deep down do you find yourself longing for more calm, clarity and connection? If so, this 6 week Mindfulness course will be a safe space for you to slow down, breathe and tune into yourself. 
Each week we will explore Mindfulness through the lens of a different theme. You will learn simple, yet powerful, techniques to help you: Recognise and release stress, find more ease in your daily life, cultivate inner peace and embrace the present moment.
